The Canadian Guild of Stage Directors and Choreographers advocates for all Canadian directors and choreographers regardless of their level of experience, and hopes to see paid assistants and associates in all theatres across the country - an endeavour that has not been achieved until now. Your contributions bring us closer to allowing this organization to move forward in our goals of supporting young-in-craft, equity-seeking, and/or underrepresented artists who pursue becoming industry leaders in Canadian theatre.

WHY I STAND WITH CGDC
"It is vital that creative spaces create opportunities for growth and learning. Time is a generous offer that should be appreciated and that includes monetarily as well. It takes commitment to be in the Arts, especially during a time when it is suffering the most. Let’s lessen the barriers of free time, which is no longer feasible, and value all the creative beings in the spaces we occupy. Advocating for this change as a Board Member of CGDC is why I am here."
